Are you passionate about science and looking for your first experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry? 


Join Lundbeck as a Medical Affairs Trainee and gain hands-on experience supporting our Medical team across Spain and Portugal, contributing to innovative treatments for people living with brain 

disorders. 


Your new role 

As a Medical Affairs Trainee, you will support the Medical Advisor in a wide variety of scientific and cross-functional activities within our Psychiatry Business Unit. 


You will have the opportunity to learn how Medical Affairs contributes throughout the lifecycle of a medicine, from scientific communication and evidence generation to collaboration with  healthcare professionals and internal business teams. 


Throughout your internship, you will gain exposure to activities such as: 


• Supporting the review and preparation of scientific and medical materials.  

• Assisting in the coordination of medical projects, scientific meetings and educational 

initiatives.  

• Collaborating in literature reviews and scientific evidence gathering.  

• Supporting medical information requests and internal knowledge management.  

• Contributing to congresses, advisory boards and other medical activities.  

• Working closely with colleagues from Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access and Sales in a highly collaborative environment.

You will become part of the Medical Affairs team within our Psychiatry Business Unit in Iberia, working from our Barcelona office in a collaborative, international and science-driven 

environment.

professionally and personally throughout your internship. 


What you bring to the team 

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, 

Biomedical Sciences or another Life Sciences degree.  

• English proficiency at B2 level or above.  

• Availability to formalize an internship agreement with a university or educational 

institution.  

• Strong scientific curiosity and willingness to learn.  

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.  

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.  

• Interest in neuroscience and the pharmaceutical industry will be considered an advantage.
